Cleanliness issues were evident in a number of areas, with mold present in the bathroom and an unpleasant smell that lingered despite daily cleaning. The TV channels were limited. Having only half a dozen channels isn't ideal for downtime. The breakfast quality fell short, with rubberized scrambled eggs and uncooked bacon leaving much to be desired, especially considering the price of the room. While the location is convenient, it feels like some attention to the finer details could elevate the experience substantially.

Marvellous and absolutely perfect location, air conditioned standard queen room with a hand painted ceiling and the value of money plus drinks. Plenty of great options for meal.

I liked the room which is a suite but it is one large room. I have 2 kids and I was charged for one, I thought kids are free. My fault. Checking out as My booking says is at up to 14:00 but I had to argue about that.
Arguing about the check out and I was charged for my daughter. The hotel has no elevator. The ac was ok but we were lucky cuz it was not so hot during my stay..

The hotel is well placed, just off a main shopping street, with restaurants and a supermarket very near. It is 5 minutes walk from Ca'd'Oro, where you catch the waterbus on the Grand Canal. The hotel has been renovated but retains classical Venetian features. The staff are friendly and helpful, and speak good English. Our classic double room was on the ground floor, which was disappointing, but it had everything we needed (including a room safe, fridge, hairdryer and airconditioning)and was spotless, and beautifully tiled; and we paid the cheapest online rate to stay in a 4 star hotel in a good area. The buffet breakfast was plentiful.

What an absolute blunder this hotel is! The breakfast was rubber-like and even worse, they ran out of yoghurts-how very quaint! I expected, at the very least, a complimentary gesture for my stay, being high maintenance, I mean, special. Alas, just another routine experience in Venice where they clearly can't manage hospitality!

The hotel Ca'Vendramin Di Santa Fosca is small but very lovely. We stayed in the small en-suite room on the ground floor . The room was spotless with linen and towels changed every day. The contential buffet breakfast was more than sufficient. The hotel is perfectly situated just off the main strip 'Strada Nova'. The hotel staff are very friendly and more than eager to help. Its very peaceful and comfortable. We found it absoutely perfect!
The only problem with the hotel, if you could call it a problem, was that they dont have wifi.

This small boutique hotel is in a beautiful old palazzo, within easy walking distance of Piazza San Marco, restaurants and shopping. Our suite was luxurious, extremely comfortable and clean. The hotel features a very nice breakfast. The staff, very courteous, professional and knowledgeable, makes the guests feel very special. Fast and free WiFi internet access everywhere in the hotel is a great plus.
The only drawback is that there is no elevator but this deficiency can be overlooked unless one has difficulty climbing stairs.

Our stay was just lovely! The room had this grand canal view that took me breath away. The breakfast was decent, but could do with a bit more variety. All in all, mighty experience thanks to the sound staff. Would go back in a heartbeat!

The bad was a little be to old, but as the hotel is quite old, we did not mind that.

Beautifully italian palazzo style decorated room with fabric wallpaper and the door/window leading to a small balcony overlooking a nice side canal with a great view. The hotel location is very conveniently placed 7 minutes away from C'Oro which is the vaporetto-boat stop to/from piazza Roma (for airport bus) or Santa Lucia railway station (as long as your luggage has good rollers to negotiate the inevitable 3 small canal bridges steps leading to the hotel. Also great location for Venecian sight seeing on foot. Excellent international style breakfast.A number of nice restaurants very near-by.
The shower takes getting used to a little, but once you learned it - its a good one. Not really being a minus point at all.

Real good experience there. Grand old, quaint hotel with amazingly attentive people and magnificent location on the promenade from Santa Lucia to San Marco. Romantic, tidy room with cleaning supplies.
